My cousin Vanessa has been missing since October 11th, 2014 and was last seen on the corner of 61st and Flushing ave at 5pm in Maspeth, Queens. If anyone has seen her or heard from her please let me know!!! We just want her home..
I don’t get to gloat about my boyfriend as much as I should but he might be the single greatest person I know. Since my lung collapsed he has separated from me for no more than a few hours to shower or nap. He massages my head, brings me tea, wakes up in the middle of the night to carry my suction tank to the bathroom. He sleeps as close as physically possible without being in the hospital bed and sometimes leans over mid sleep to kiss my head. And after seeing my ribs get cut open and a tube shoved into my chest and blood everywhere, he tells me I am beautiful every few hours. The past few days have been filled with unplanned surgery and pain that requires the medical equivalent of heroin but I get to look back on the whole weekend and feel blessed. I have never been this loved, quite frankly I’m not sure anyone has even been this loved. Getting woken up at 4am to have vitals taken are ten million times better when I look over and see his concerned face peeping over the bed rail. Thank you sweetheart for making this hospital stay not only tolerable but almost enjoyable.
This is so beautiful it made me cry a little. So glad there are people out there who will stay with their loved ones through all the horrors of chronic illness. What a wonderful guy.
I teared up a bit too.
yeah… I don’t know how anyone with a chronic illness (or without, I’d think) would not get emotional over this.
This is adorable
I found a bunch of pictures I thought were stuck on another computer that crashed. I’m so thankful these pictures from Vegas weren’t lost! ❤
Still don’t believe how much of a piece of shit monster Dr. Luke is? #FreeKeshaLuke #StayStrongKesha
Don’t ignore this. Realize what a monster Dr. Luke is.
Gisella Perl was forced to work as a doctor in Auschwitz concentration camp during the holocaust.
She was ordered to report ever pregnant women do the physician Dr. Josef Mengele, who would then use the women for cruel experiments (e.g. vivisections) before killing them.
She saved hundreds of women by performing abortions on them before their pregnancy was discovered, without having access to basic medical supplies. She became known as the “Angel of Auschwitz”.
After being rescued from Bergen-Belsen concentration camp she tried to commit suicide, but survived, recovered and kept working as a gynecologist, delivering more than 3000 babies.
I want to nail this to the forehead of every anti-abortionist who uses the word “Holocaust” when talking about legal abortions.
Another life lost too soon. I hope you’re finally able to be at peace, my friend. We’ll miss you more than you’d ever fathom. 💔
i am SO GLAD someone else feels this way
When people are abused and assaulted, it is like the doors to their souls slam shut. The goal of Joyful Heart is to let the light, and the life, back in—to banish the darkness and let the healing begin.
